Description: PS3 desktop (Openbox on the RSX, game mode)
Automatic login on tty1 (/etc/default/ps3-desktop: PS3_DESKTOP_USER) into an Openbox desktop on
the RSX (Xorg modesetting with glamor): tint2 panel, PCManFM desktop, network, volume and
notification helpers. Game mode keeps a game and X resident; while it runs the rest of the
desktop gets out of the way (frozen, its memory pushed out) and comes back intact when the last
game exits, however it exits; the game's own files are read back at its start in one pass in disk
order, from what it used the last time. It starts by itself for any fullscreen 3D program
 (ps3-game-detect; browsers and video players excepted) and with the menu's games (ps3-game);
PS3_GAME_MODE=off in a program's environment, or system-wide, turns it off. Gamepads move the
pointer outside games. Shut down and Reboot menu entries, OpenArena's PS3 settings.

Package: ps3-apps
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}, mousepad, gpicview, zathura, zathura-pdf-poppler, xarchiver, galculator,
 lxtask, scrot, mpv
Description: everyday desktop applications for the PS3

(GPicView), a PDF viewer (zathura), an archive manager (Xarchiver), a calculator (Galculator),
a task manager (LXTask), screenshots (scrot, on the Print key) and a media player (mpv). The

 openttd-opensfx, openttd-openmsx
Description: the PS3's game suite
The games this distribution is tested and benchmarked with (docs/GAME-PLAN.md): each one known to
run on the RSX, with its sound, joins this package once it does. Remove this package to remove
them. Only free packages: the licensed game data (Quake, Quake II, ClassiCube) is in
 ps3-games-licensed.
