Package: ps3-splash
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}, ps3-no-initramfs, plymouth (>= 26.134.222-1+ps3), hsetroot
Description: Walnut Linux boot splash (Plymouth theme)
 The Walnut Linux logo on the desktop's blue with a progress bar and a walnut rolling at
 its head, for boot and shutdown. The last frame stays up until the desktop draws (Plymouth
 leaves it on the console, the desktop session puts it on X's root window with hsetroot).
 Kernels whose arguments include "splash" show it; the others show the usual boot messages.
 Made to show early from a USB disk: no text rendering (our Plymouth's script plugin works
 without it), no XKB keymap, and no DRM renderer (diverted: it can't drive ps3rsx at boot).

Package: ps3-no-initramfs
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}
Provides: initramfs-tools
Description: PS3: no initramfs (satisfies dependencies on initramfs-tools)
 The PS3 boots without an initramfs: Petitboot loads /boot/vmlinux-<release> directly. Plymouth
 depends on initramfs-tools | dracut only to put itself into one, and the real initramfs-tools
 would build an unused initramfs on every kernel install (minutes on the PS3). This empty package
 provides initramfs-tools instead. Its own package (not ps3-splash's) so that Plymouth is
 configured before the splash theme, without a dependency cycle. Packages that really need an
 initramfs (an encrypted root, say) won't work with it.
