Installation
In Walnut Games, the desktop app: Install. The game data is not part of the package: Guides says how to get it.
Or from a terminal, from Walnut's apt repository:
sudo apt install fheroes2
Known issues
- The game hung in the only session so far: about five minutes in, on the adventure map, the window stopped answering while the main thread was still in its loop and the kernel log showed no GPU error. It was killed for a core dump. It is not known yet whether it repeats; todo.toml has the investigation.
- Nobody has tried a battle, saving and loading or the gamepad in a played session yet.
