Installation

In Walnut Games, the desktop app: Install, then Add game files... and pick your copy of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge: the disc in the drive, an ISO, BIN/CUE or MDF image, an installer or a folder. The game data is not part of the package, and Walnut does not offer it.

What works: MONKEY2.000 and MONKEY2.001 from the DOS release (English, German, Spanish, French or Italian): the floppies' installed files, copied to a folder.

More ways (a terminal, game-data-packager on any Debian system, copying the files by hand): Guides.

Or from a terminal, from Walnut's apt repository:

sudo apt install scummvm

Known issues

  • The Spanish floppy release starts with its copy-protection screen, the voodoo recipe wheel: ScummVM doesn't skip it for this release, so the answer comes from the wheel in the box.
